STUDIO CLASSES

The Balancing Bodies Studio is a small and humble courtyard studio located in Wavell Heights, North Brisbane. The studio is dedicated to intimate classes of up to 4 people and can be used as a private group class hire or for the Balancing Bodies public group classes. Choose from our variety of classes and find what suits you!

WHICH YOGA IS MEANT FOR YOU?

 

With a range of different styles of yoga on offer, Balancing Bodies gives you the opportunity to try, explore and experiment with a variety of yoga styles to work out what works for you.  Whether you are looking to get your heart rate up and physically challenge your body, or simply to gently stretch, soften and calm the mind and body - we've got you covered. We can work with you to achieve your goals by using one class a week with a primary focus, or by combining a few classes a week to gain overall physical and mental alignment. 

Hatha classes will guide you through traditional yoga postures whilst focusing on the breath and mind body connection. This beautiful and relaxing practice is suitable for all levels and includes a physical series of postures as well as breath work and meditation to enhance muscle strength, flexibility and mindfulness.

This invigorating class harnesses the power of the breath to guide you through a strong and dynamic series of postures. Powerful and strong postures flow together seamlessly with continuous breath to build stregth, balance and flexibility. This class will leave you feeling strong and focused both mentally and physically and is suitable for all levels.

Flow is a perfect combination of dynamic and calming postures that are sewn toghether in a flowing and playful way to promote energy, strength, and calm throughout the body. This class is perfect all levels and enhances both physical and mental strength, flexiblity and joy. 

Gentle hatha is very accessible for newer students or those wishing to get back to basics. It is a slower yoga practice that emphasizes postural alignment and relaxation. This gentle practice enhances stamina, flexibility and a peaceful mind. All levels welcome.

* ALL STUDIO CLASSES MUST BE PRE-BOOKED and are subject to availabilty. Bookings work as a first come first serve basis.

** Cancellations must be made 12 hours in advance to avoid incurring a charge.

*** Monthly Passes are according to the Calendar month and will be valid from the 1st to the last day of the month purchased.
